Santander offer better Spanish mortgage terms through their Bradford call centre for than would be achieved direct in Spain.

Santander will not work through any brokers so to understand their offerings, which do include higher loan to values, and reasonable rates clients need to speak to them direct.

Service levels and turn around times are slow which may be due to lack of staff in the unit and level of activity they deal with but clients will get to speak to someone in English who will take care to ensure the client understands the buying and mortgage process in Spain.

Santanders Spanish offerings do include making sure English speaking staff are in most branches and they have by far the widest range of products.

Santander do offer re-mortgages but only to residents.
